Design Inspiration:The 'Amachan Diary' collection was inspired by island diving adventures. Amachan divers are part of an ancient profession that's fading away—one of the oldest diving traditions in East and Southeast Asia, going back thousands of years. These women live by the sea, free-diving without any breathing gear to gather pearls, abalone, conches, and more. Being an Ama is both risky and romantic—they're expert divers, often called “daughters of the ocean.”
The 'Amachan Diary' series is crafted from sterling silver and gold plating, using high-precision hand-inlay techniques to create a uniquely romantic vibe.
